Hello,

My Name is Victor Alejandro Wainer. My family and friends call me Alejandro, or Alioscha, but from the moment I entered primary school I became Victor to most everyone else. In Canada I mostly introduce myself as Victor, seeing that nobody can pronounce Alejandro.

To myself I am Alejandro, but when I feel annoyed, or when I think I am being treated unfairly I talk out loudly and sarcastically about Victor. At times I am also Travis – but that is definitely another long and absurd story.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and lived my teenager years in Madrid, Spain. I meet my wife in Toledo, Spain, but we married and became parents in Victoria, BC Canada – where I reside since 1984.

All the while I was writing away.
